It should be an interesting night tonight. The company I work for is taking us out gambling.
Yeah, you heard me right, they are taking us out gambling. And they are bankrolling each of us $100. I guess you could say that this is our bonus for working our asses off lately (ignore all posts previous to this where I talk about napping at work, or going home for lunch, or skipping, or anything else that may make it sound like I wasn’t working hard, end of message), but I think that it is more a way for the Lords of War to let off some steam in an appropriate manner.
I’ve got a pretty good getup for my first soiree into the casino world. Surprisingly, I’ve never been to a casino to gamble before now, even though I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Vegas (all before 18), and even some time in Tijuana. Regardless, I’m all dressed up and ready to go.
I’ll let you in on the details (and try to get a good party picture or two) tomorrow, if I live through the night.
ps-I went out with some co-workers last night as well, and I have to relate this little conversation I had with one of them. We’re looking at this guy that had some spacers in his ears that were big enough to fit silver dollars through. Then this conversation happened:
Co-worker: “Have you ever had your ears pierced?”
Me: “Nope, never wanted to do that.”
Co-worker (leaning in and with emphasis): “Have you ever had your cock pierced?!?”
Me (thinking): “What the eff?”
I’m not too sure about that guy…
